Using Mobile Money on Exness

You can make deposits and withdrawals from your trading accounts via Mobile Money—a payment method that allows you to transfer funds using your registered phone number in Uganda and Ghana.

As opposed to payments in USD or any other currency, depositing and withdrawing using your local currency means you don’t need to worry about currency conversion. Additionally, there is no commission when funding your Exness account via Mobile Money, and withdrawals are free of charge too.

Here’s what you need to know about using Mobile Money:

Deposit using Mobile Money


Uganda

  1. Go to the Deposit section in your Personal Area, and click Mobile Money.
  2. Select the trading account you would like to top up, enter the deposit amount, select the currency and click Next.
  3. You will be shown a summary of the transaction. Check details and click Confirm Payment.
  4. You’ll be redirected to the page where you will need to select your mobile provider and enter your phone number. Click Pay.
  5. You will see a confirmation page with the message that you will be receiving a text on your phone with instructions to complete the payment. Open the text in your phone and follow the instructions to complete the transaction.

Ghana

1. Go to the Deposit section in your Personal Area, and click Mobile Money.

2. Select the trading account you would like to top up, enter the deposit amount, select the currency and click Next.

3. You will be shown a summary of the transaction. Check details and click Confirm Payment.

a. For AirtelTIGO and MTN:

i. You’ll be redirected to the page where you will need to select your mobile provider and enter your phone number. Click Pay.

ii. You will see a confirmation page with the message that you will be receiving a text on your phone with instructions to complete the payment.

iii. You will receive a text on your phone prompting you to enter the PIN from the mobile provider. Enter the PIN and hit Send.

iv. You will receive a confirmation of the transaction on your phone.

b. For Vodafone

i. You’ll be redirected to the page where you will need to select your mobile provider, enter your phone number and voucher number.

ii. To generate a voucher number:

- Dial *100# on your mobile phone.

- Select Make Payments - Generate Voucher.

- Enter your PIN.

iii. You will receive a text with the generated voucher number.

iv. Enter the voucher number on the payments page and click Pay.

v. You will receive the transaction confirmation on your phone.

You’ll receive the funds in your trading account within a couple of minutes.


Withdrawal using Mobile Money

To withdraw funds from your trading account via Mobile Money in Uganda and Ghana:
 
  1. Click Mobile Money in the Withdrawal section of your Personal Area.
  2. Select the trading account you would like to withdraw funds from, choose your withdrawal currency, and specify the withdrawal amount in your account currency. Click Next.
  3. A summary of the transaction will be shown. Enter the verification code sent to you either by email or SMS depending on your Personal Area security type. Click Confirm withdrawal.
  4. On the next page you’ll need to select your mobile services provider, input your mobile number specifying your country code (256 for Uganda and 233 for Ghana) and enter your name (the owner of the mobile number). Click Confirm.

Your withdrawal should be credited to your mobile phone within a few minutes.
 

Note: Make sure to use the same phone number as you used for deposit or the transfer won’t go through.
